2. Teacher Modeling:

Onomatopoeia refers to words that imitate sounds.

Example: Splash, tinkle Alliteration is the repetition of beginning sounds in two or more neighboring word.

Example: Time tells the tales; tinkle, tinkle, tinkle Assonance is the repetition of vowel sounds in words with different consonants in a line

Example: �Hear the mellow wedding bells. Golden bells� How do you appreciate the beauty of nature? Why? (value)

C. Post Reading:
