Lesson planning has become inevitable to us teachers. As the old saying goes, "Lesson Plan is the Bible of the Teacher" which in fact is true. No one can deny the benefits we get from these lesson plans although ofcourse those plans are not so easy to make. Here, we provide you some ready to use DLP which were submitted to us and organized to give you on the list below.

"In line with the implementation of Republic Act (RA) No. 10533 or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the Department of Education (DepEd) issues the enclosed Policy Guidelines on Daily Lesson Preparation for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
Planning lessons is fundamental to ensuring the delivery of teaching and learning in schools. These guidelines aim to support teachers in organizing and managing their classes and lessons effectively and efficiently and ensure the achievement of learning outcomes.

Furthermore, these guidelines affirm the role of the K to 12 teacher as a facilitator of learning. Preparing for lessons through the Daily Lesson Log (DLL) or Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) and provides teachers with an opportunity for reflection on what learners need to learn, how learners learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process. These guidelines also aim to empower teachers to carry out quality instruction that recognizes the diversity of learners inside the classroom, is committed to learners success, allows the use of varied instructional and formative assessment strategies including the use of information and communications technologies (ICTs), and enables the teacher to guide, mentor, and support learners in developing and assessing their learning across the curriculum.

These guidelines will remain in force and in effect unless sooner repealed, amended, or rescinded. All issuances inconsistent with this Order are hereby rescinded. Referred to DO 42, S. 2016 POLICY GUIDELINES ON DAILY LESSON PREPARATION FOR THE K TO 12 BASIC EDUCATION PROGRAM" - DepEd, Philippines

A good-constructed lesson plan will help you teach significant sections of a topic within the designated time frame. You will not grope in the dark about how a particular query from a student should be addressed. With this tool in your hand you will be able to teach with a better sense of direction and control. There will a lot of free time to focus on improvising your abilities as an educator.

"There are several reasons why a planned lesson is better. One of them is that having a lesson plan helps you maintain focus. With a classroom full of children, with their short attention spans and their natural desire to disrupt anything and everything, it is very easy for a lesson to be sidetracked or derailed completely, and the best way for you, the teacher, to steer the lesson back on course is if you happened to have brought your map along with you. Sorry about mixing the train and car metaphors there." - Panoptical, 2012.

Other teachers consider lesson planning a time consuming job without thinking that lesson plans can be utilized several times, in whole or in part, in other lessons months or years in the future. Most teachers keep files of previous lessons they have taught, which they then draw on to facilitate planning for their current classes. In other words, lesson planning now can save time later.
