DepEd INSETS, Sapat na para sa CPD Units

Professional Regulatory Commission has agreed to the proposal that the annual In-Service Training (INSET) or Semestral Break Training for Teachers and School Heads should be enough to fulfill the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirement for the renewal of their PRC License. This is through the action and effort by the Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT).

However, it is no surprise that some, if not most, are still on the line of non-compliance and are then confused if it will now affect in the renewal of their PRC ID's. With this announcement from the PRC, we hope that many of us will be at ease in renewing their ID's until December of 2020 without full CPD compliance provided that they we will abide in the unit requirements of the CPD from then onward.
