DepEd Usec Annalyn Sevilla that they are working on the improvement of policy guidelines on the implementation of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education integrated with subjects and extra-curricular activities.
The agency stretched on April 4, 2019, that the integration of sexuality education will make a good impact to minimize that numbers of teenage pregnancy, population growth, and sexual diseases. It is planned to be integrated with lessons in public elementary and secondary schools.
"Nais naming isama ito sa mga existing lessons, gayundin sa iba't ibang mga gawain na ginagawa natin sa paaralan." Sevilla said in an interview.
Sexuality education shall be integrated into Araling Paraling Panlipunan, Physical Education and Health, Science, and Personal Development. Hence, all the school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders are urged to support this undertaking.
