As weird as it sounds, but yes, one licensed teacher from Dasmarinas, Cavite has recently renewed his PRC ID using his Brigada Eskwela Certificate from last year. And according to him, PRC honored it and is equivalent of 15 CPD units.
Many of us, teachers, are still attending thorough seminars and training (which technically is good for our professional growth) just to gain enough CPD units for our ID's renewal. If this teacher's experience will be the same to all PRC offices nationwide, honoring the brigada eskwela certificates, then it can greatly help all the teachers for easier renewal of their licenses.
