The Commission on Elections announced on Thursday that the teacher who will serve as Electoral Boards in the upcoming May 13 Elections are subject to tax exemption under one condition.
BIR confirms that to be exempted from tax, teachers will need to file a prescribed sworn declaration that their annual salaries should not exceed P250,000.
Electoral Boards are entitled to receive the following honoraria:
EB Chairpersons - P6,000
EB Pollclerk -P5,000
EB Third Member - P5,000
Travel Allowance - P1,000
