Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said that the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines might go on for months if the interventions are not properly implemented. Based on studies, in the worst-case scenario, this pandemic could last up to January of 2021.
But these are all estimations," Vergeire said.
Usec. Vergerie, in the press briefing, said that all these are all just estimations but it could really happen if the country does not come up with the strong implementation of interventions to fight this pandemic.
