Facebook Workplace uses the same technologies and features as the standard Facebook Consumer version. Workplace was purchased by the Department of Education for collaboration among its employees. In fact, employees work more efficiently together by reducing their reliance on email and other Software as Service tools. Also, employees tend to be more productive because everything that is featured in the feeds is all related.
From the recently conducted DepEd SIPAG 2019, where Facebook Workplaces were set up together with the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration, all Deped employees are advised and required to register in Facebook Workplace.
