The Department of Education said that they are now finding ways to include private school teachers to the beneficiaries of Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
DepEd Sec. Leonor Briones explained that private school teachers are largely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic since their institutions' income went down.
“We sympathize with the problem of private schools.
Sec. Briones assures that they will look for all possible means to make this happen as they are now also seeking the support of the Congress on this matter.
