In a press briefing for the Malacañang Press Corps (MPC) at the New Executive Building (NEB) in Malacañang, Manila on April 30, 2020, Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque announced the updated list of areas that will be under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) from May 1 to May 15, 2020.
The following geographical areas, including all provinces, highly-urbanized cities, independent component cities, component cities, and municipalities situated therein, shall be under Enhanced Community Quarantine from the period of May 1, 12:01 AM, up to May 15, 11:59 PM;
1. National Capital Region;
2. Region III (Central Luzon), maliban sa Aurora,
3. Region IV-A (CALABARZON);
4. Pangasinan;
5. Benguet;
6. Iloilo;
7. Cebu;
8. The City of Bacolod;
9. The City of Davao
Areas not included on the list will be under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) for the same period.
